"GOODMOUS.EXE" is in self-extracting 'ARC' form.
It should be up/downloaded and copied exactly as you received it along with
this file "GOODMOUS.TXT".  There is negligible reduction when ARCHIVED again.


GOODMOUS.EXE is a C language programmer's library providing a powerful
menuing system with automatic mouse and cursor control for the IBM PC and
compatibles.  Both Microsoft, and DeSmet compilers are supported.  The 
DeSmet versions of the demonstration programs require a floating point
co-processor: Microsoft versions use emulation if it is absent.

create the following directory structure on your hard drive.

			 `------- generic

Copy the distribution files into directory d1.

Then self-extract the first level files by changeing to directory 'd1\x'
   and typeing ...
			..\GOODMOUS<CR>
Then self-extract the compiler independent files by changeing to
  directory 'd1\x\generic' and typeing ...
			..\GENERIC<CR>
Then self-extract the DeSmet specific files by changeing to directory 
  'd1\x\cware' and typeing ...
			..\CWARE<CR>
Then self-extract the DeSmet specific files by changeing to directory 
  'd1\x\medium' and typeing ...
			..\MEDIUM<CR>



DUAL FLOPPY DISK FILE EXTRACTION PROCEDURE.
Place a diskette containing the distribution file GOODMOUS.EXE in drive B. 
Place a blank formatted disk labeled "EXTRACT" in drive A.
   Type ...
			A:<CR>.
Self extract the 3 files at the next level
   by typing ...
			B:GOODMOUS<CR>

Remove diskette "EXTRACT" from drive A, and place it in drive B.
Place a blank formatted disk labeled "GENERIC" in drive A.
Self extract the generic files (source, goodmous.doc, version)
   by typing ...
			B:GENERIC<CR>

Place a blank formatted disk labeled "CWARE" in drive A.
Self extract the - C WARE specific files (library, cmpiler.h, make)
   by typing ...
			B:CWARE<CR>

Place a blank formatted disk labeled "MEDIUM" in drive A.
Self extract the - Microsoft Medium and QuickC specific files
   by typing ...
			B:MEDIUM<CR>

The new files will be placed on the diskettes in drive A.
